Now, I need to ping them and create backlinks to these sites. There is a lot of work that has to go into this system, but I am sure it will work. I am excited to see what this does for traffic to the site.
I have several other sites in niches that weren't on the 36 niches list that I want to do this same thing for. This has been a great experience. I am so thankful to know how to do this and what I need to do to create the mysterious "backlinks" to my site.

Squidoo page done
Wow. I got my squidoo page done:

It always goes that way. I start one project and realize all the other things I need to do first before I can finish the initial project.
Am I the only one?
To complete the squidoo page, I had to get a new gmail account, a new twitter account using my keywords.
New Twitter account

Then I linked my twitter account and facebook accounts to the squidoo page. I got artwork for the page and renamed it with my keywords.
I love doing IM. I am so happy to be learning all this. It is just that it always seems to take longer than it should.
It's all good.
Oh, and I had to write the content for the squidoo page. I should have outsourced it, but I have more time than money right now, and " no one can do it as well as I can," right?

Deciding on a domain and master keyword
I am going with "Teeth Whitening Denver" as my main keyword.
There were 60k results and 28 AdWords advertisers.
One Keyword tool said there were 5859 searches. Google said there were 2600 searches. That seems like a descent bit of traffic for a long tail keyword.
Then I went into adwords keyword tool and it didn't have stats for the traffic. I see that as an opportunity to get the price down.
With Adwords, I usually start high, over a buck, and then bring the price down once I am establishes. I can usually get to under $.25.
If I convert at 1% I pay $25 in advertising and make $35. I clear $10 per sale.
I am going to try and collect email addresses by giving away a free pdf. Then I can sell them more information or products.

Teeth Whitening Niche
I read the "36 niches" pdf:

and decided to do the "Teeth whitening" niche because I know there are a lot of CPA offers for TW systems.
THEN I start looking at the videos that Howie has put online, and saw that he uses the TW niche in a lot of his examples. I just want to publicly declare that I picked before I saw all the videos. Not that anyone cares, of course...

IMRemarkable blog contest
I am a sucker for internet marketing contests, especially for the training that comes along with them.
I was one of 6 finalists in Russell Brunson's $100M contest. Missed getting the new '09 Corvette by *that* much! Learned a lot though.
Now, Howie Schwartz is running a contest. He's calling it “WHO IS THE MOST REMARKABLE MARKETER?” I spent the day watching his intro videos and man, Howie knows his stuff!

I have been interested in Internet marketing for several years and am in perpetual "learning" mode. I have a lot of sites out there, but nothing is making the kind of money I know is possible. It gets really frustrating. I am ready to put Howie's information to work. The purpose of this contest is to get people off their butts and into "doing." I am ready to "DO!"
I found out about it a little late. Today is July 3rd and the contest is over on the 10th. That gives me one week to get this stuff done, but I am going to do my darnedest.
My wife isn't going to be happy that I am working all July 4th weekend, but oh well. I'll have to make it up to her!
I will attempt to update every day, but we all know how that goes... I am anxious to "DO" Howie's system.
